I want to give a couple of big thankZ out this time around!
First to Josh Bernstein, Publisher of that rockin'poppin' mag, ROYAL FLUSH for recogniZing yours truly as the sole person behind that historic meeting of Jack Kirby and Frank Zappa. Along with the photo I took of JK and FZ, Josh surpriZed me by including photo of FZ and myself in the article entitled "The Pick-Up Artist". I'm STILL blushing!
And my second big thankZ goes to another Good Guy, Jeff John, one of the head honchos at Revolution Live in Ft. Lauderdale for graciously adding yours truly along with my first nephew, Peter Scianna and his son Kelly on the VIP list for ZAPPA PLAYS ZAPPA on Jan. 8th! It was great to finally meet and hear Dweezil! I let DZ know I am ready, willing and able to audition next time ZPZ needs a vocalist! "Magic Mic" made his move!
